Years & Years at Spring Break 2015!

The second edition of Spring Break Festival & Conference will take place between 23rd and 25th of April and the BBC Sound Of 2015 winners – Years & Years – are the first band to be revealed from our massive line up.

Three Londoners became popular because of an incredible EP „Real”. Olly Alexander, Mikey Godlsworthy and Emre Turkmen cite TLC and Aaliyah as influences and the sound of 90s R&B is the core of their electro-pop hits. Even though they’re really young, they have already enjoyed a run of successful performances at multiple festivals In 2014 (Bestival, Latitude, Tauron) before playing support slots with Sam Smith. Furthermore, they’ve won BBC Sound Of 2015 last week. The band is currently working on their debut album, and „King” is another sneak peak on how it may sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_uoH6hJilc.

Spring Break is a pioneering event on Polish market – an event that merges two basic elements of a showcase festiwal –  conference and concerts. At Spring Break shows of young, aspiring groups are accompanied by workshops and panels for both the industry people and participants. First edition showed a niche for that kind of an event In Poland. Great reviews and a huge suport from both – music industry and public – allowed Spring Break to come back for a second edition!

Tickets for Spring Break 2015 will be available later today at www.ebilet.pl, www.eventim.pl, www.biletomat.pl, www.ticketpro.pl, in Empik, Media Markt and Saturn shops and In Centrum Kultury Zamek.
