A Warsaw-based singer and songwriter, mom to an 8 year old Sufjan, who rather than dropping everything and escaping the big city life decided to write songs (perhaps in anticipation of the midlife crisis). Her style is a blend of indie-folk and alt-country, which is the part of American culture she’s been soaking up for years when her job required her to watch American movies or series. “These are simple prairie songs” – says Donna, who just recorded an EP and is wrapping up its release with a U.S. independent label (which she will share more about soon). During Spring Break you will hear material from that forthcoming release. As part of a free collaboration project, Donna and her supporting band, which includes guitarist Sebastian Łanik and mandolinist Artur Hołuszko, are expected to be joined by guest musicians.
