MARCELINA

Singer, songwriter and composer. In 2011, she released debut studio album “Marcelina”, which was promoted by singles “Tatku” and “Nie chcę już”. In 2012, she received nomination to the Fryderyk Award (in the “Debut of the Year” category), and nomination for the WARTO Award of “Gazeta Wyborcza”. In the same year she appeared on the album June, alongside artists such as Katarzyna Nosowska, Aga Zaryan, Ania Dąbrowska, Mika Urbaniak and Urszula Dudziak. She has performed at the largest festivals in Poland (at the Open’er Festival, Orange Warsaw Festival, Coke Live, Off Camera and on the Main Stage of Przystanek Woodstock) and gave concerts in the world (in London, Paris, Risoul, Les Sybelles, in Mauritius; two-week tour around Japan). She received a special prize for “Artist on the Web” during the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. October 8 was the premiere of the second author’s album, Marcelina “Wschody Zachody”. At the beginning of February was the premiere of the second official single Marcelina “Karmelove”, where Piotr Rogucki sang as a guest. The song has reached over 18 million plays on You Tube. On 9 October 2015, the third album was released “Gonić burzę”. On September 28, 2018, was the premiere of the fourth studio album of Marcelina “Koniec wakacji”. The form of song typical for Marcelina and the melodiousness of the songs has been enriched with electronic sounds characteristic of the producer of the album by Kuba Karaś (The Dumplings).
