Mery Spolsky writes lyrics, turns them into songs and provokes … mainly to think. Her words are honest, dressed in strong electro-techno sounds and song melodies. In fact, she does most of these things herself, because she wants everything she does to have a “spolsky” (“made in Poland”) label – she designs scenography, graphics and clothing, she produces and composes. From the debut album, she is accompanied by the “Spolsky Cross”, which helps lost hearts. Another trademark are “stripes” because, as she claims, black reflects her black humour, while white emphasizes white lines.
In 2017, she released her debut album “Miło Było Pana Poznać” with record label Kayax.
The second album was released on September 27th, 2019 by Kayax label and is entitled “Dekalog Spolsky”. Mery plays on it with the decalogue convention and presents her ten own life principles, moral rules in the form of ten songs.
