Three guys hailing from the county town of Szamotuły, near Poznań. They make music in a basement despite the neighbours’ complaints. They sample old Polish recordings, dug up in flea markets and the attics of those born in a bygone era when there was nothing but vinegar and mustard adorning shop shelves. Digital bits mix with instrumental and vocal layers, giving these Polish hits a new lease of life. The guys swear a bit – not through a lack of education but because they don’t like beating about the bush. These three gentlemen create music that enters your ears, causes cramps in both your right and left calves, meaning it’s great for cutting some rug to. It’s music they themselves like. Their work is really worth checking out.
