Sanah is an indie-pop phenomenon that emerged, as many others, from YouTube. Regular demo uploads from a 21 y. o. singer songwriter from Poland have driven attention to her channel in just a couple of weeks. It resulted in high media interest (Song Of The Day in National Radio Channel 3), hundreds of thousands video views and #1 Spotify Viral chart on Spotify with her single “Siebie Zapytasz” (Ask Yourself). What’s more – a then relatively unknown singer heard a cover version of her song by Polish best-selling artist David Podsiadlo at one of his shows, as well as got invited by a Canadian jazz singer Matt Dusk for a duet on his album ‘Jet Set Jazz’ . In Sept. ’19 she was included in Vevo DSCVR program supporting the most interesting newcomers on music scene.
Her soft voice, extraordinary vulnerability and professional musical education deliver a mixture of organic, yet widely arranged sounds for lovers of beautiful melodies and meaningful lyrics. On Oct. 11th she released her first EP in vinyl-only format that reached #3 on vinyl sales charts. Her debut longplay release is planned for spring 2020 and is proceeded by sanah’s latest single ‘Szampan’ – out Jan. 3rd.
