Tęskno is a solo project created by vocalist, composer and songwriter Joanna Longić. New album of Tęskno is coming out in springtime this year. Album contains not only elements distinctive for the sound of Tęskno, such as rich string instrument’s parts, but place for new instruments and electronics was also found.
Debut album entitled “Mi” was released in 2018 and appeared in the most of annual music overviews. It was ranked number one by listeners of “Radiowy Dom Kultury” (“Radio’s Home of Culture”) in Trójka Radio and got “Album of the Year” title in Interia web portal. Tęskno won also music award Mateusz Trójki, Grzegorz Ciechowski Artistic Award of Toruń and was nominated for Fryderyk award in the category of “Debut of the Year”. Between soldout concert tours Tęskno appeared also at the biggest festivals in Poland and abroad: Primavera Sound Barcelona, Open’er Festival, Colours of Ostrava, OFF Festival Katowice, Męskie Granie, Co Jest Grane 24 Festival, Olsztyn Green Festival, Halfway Festival, Slot Art Festival and more. Tęskno was created in 2017 as a duo of Joanna Longić and pianist Hanna Rani. Album “Mi” and single “Bzdury” were recorded by these artists.
